JESUS’ COMING

IS JESUS YET TO COME BACK

Jesus is already back

Brethren, Jesus is already here. To those who receive salvation He is already dwelling in them. He says in Revelation 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”

Many have seen Jesus in visions, further proving that He is here with us as he never said goodbye. In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus told His disciples that, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

So being God (Isaiah 9:6) and Spirit, Jesus is always present among His people. John 4:24, “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Jesus’ second coming

But the time for His second coming at which He will take His people away is not known. In Matthew 24:36, Jesus says, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.”

He says, He will come as a thief, when nobody expects Him as in Matthew 24:42-44, “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

In 2 Peter 3:10 we read: But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

At His second coming, also known as First Resurrection, Jesus will cast Satan into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till a thousand years are finished, Revelation 20:2-3.

Only the elect of Christ, the Saints will be resurrected at this time but the rest of the dead will not live again until the thousand years are finished. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the First Resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Revelation 20:5-6.

Conclusion
So the time to embrace Him is NOW for tomorrow may be too late.

2 Corinthians 6:2
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
